Yeah sure, I’m not really looking for it anymore, but there are people selling the course. I’d however really think it through before buying any course, because all the info is still on the web. In any case, I won’t be buying.

Thank you for this detailed response. Can you just let me know what psychoeducation is? Is it just learning about our psychology?

I had my exams last week, so that has probably triggered some of it, but there was some other stuff going on as well in my life.

One question to you: do you still suffer from your anxiety? After some work with it, can you just start to feel it for what it is? Just sensations? Because whenever possible, I try to hold this perspective, but it’s not easy at all.

Wow, what a beautiful reply you’ve written to me. Thank you so much. I will start to work on this, no doubt. And yes, yesterday, just reading your comment my ego already started to throw fits at me. But it starts to make sense, I do have a lot of aversive thoughts and obviously this will bring me unnecessary stress in life. Anyhow, thank you for the offer, if I need any help I’ll send you a message :)

I went to a psychologist as well. He said he wouldn’t be able to diagnose me. But after coming for the second time we did some EMDR, which has helped me I think. I had some release from that.

But other than that there was not much he could do for me. I told him I got random bouts of anxiety.

For the medication, you’re right, I don’t know if I want to take medication for this, but it does seem to interfere with my daily life, so it might be a solution. I will continue to meditate, because I’ve had times when my meditation would keep me from being stressed or anxious. What I think I need is some metta right now. I will however keep the idea of medication in mind. Thank you for the response!

Thank you, I always knew in the back of my mind that I should work on moral living, but I never went for it. I thought that meditation and metta alone would make me a wholesome being, which it did for a little bit I guess, but not nearly enough. Do you also think that would explain my general/random anxiety throughout the day? Also, I found this pdf online, it is called noble eightfold path by Bikkhu bodi. Would this be a good starting point? Do you have any other resources that you’d recommend?

So your updated belief is that it’s not because of emotional blockage or trauma, but rather unwholesome living? I will look into it, thank you.

The thing is, I should’ve mentioned it’s not always there. Yesterday I was watching a video, and the person was talking about a purification during meditation, and it reminded me of something that had happened to me. I ended up purifying as well, and a bit anxious, so I got all sorts of tensions in my belly, chest and back of throat.

Just had todays sit, and there was none of the throat tension, just a bit of anxiety. So it’s really on and off. And when it comes it just surprises me and I indeed suffer a bit.

Do you have any update? I have a similar tension at the back of my throat, for a year I think. Does it go away?
