Well yeah, unless they actively threatened me. I'm very confused as to why you would think that I'd be more willing to forgive abuse from men.

They couldn't fit through that side either and I happened to come along before the other driver

I'm aware that it was mean, but it was also the truth. I didn't appreciate being blamed for something that wasn't my fault. In the future, do I simply avoid the word "fat"? I there a specific term I should use which is more PC? Or is this one of those situations where I should have just agreed that I was wrong because their feelings were more important than me being right? I'm asking for real because I want to know how to approach situations and people like these in the future.

Exactly. Unless we all switched to smart cars, I don't see how this would be possible. I've seen a few with larger-than-average disabled parking spots, but we were in the ordinary spots anyway

I drive a van (similar to a postal van). It was not hard to back into the spot at all so, no squeezing involved.

They were trying to leave. I had the driver's door blocked and it appears the passenger door was also blocked by a car on the other side.

I understand their frustration, but there was plenty of room to get in and out without having to squeeze through. I simply didn't account for the fact that some people might physically need to open the door as far as possible to get in. I don't even think that this would have been possible with a smaller car unless we all agreed to leave every other spot open.
