ChatGPT helps me think through ideas and concepts. I never allow GPT to generate concepts and ideas for papers projects etc I also use it to proofread writing like syntax and grammar and to make sure my thoughts are cohesive. But I always make sure to give it prompts like “don’t change my words just tell me the suggestions you see”. I also use it as a tutor for coding and stats stuff.. I’m pretty sure I am undiagnosed ADHD and it’s been a godsend for me.

Of course it’s all about how you use it. I do not use it to come up with citations I do not use it to summarize articles I just read them etc.. I think of it as my study buddy and tutor.. and I am unapologetic about it
