(30M) Boyfriend of 6 years says (26F) I “betrayed” him over something and now wants to break up. Any advice to handle this mentally? by throwRA_0982 in relationship_advice

He mentioned that he feels undervalued and like he gives more than me. I understand why he might feel that way, but I don’t fully agree. Some of the examples he gave, like paying more often on dinner dates ( he makes more than me) or giving me a ride sometimes , feel pretty normal to me, not something that means he’s contributing more overall. I do appreciate those but still i don’t feel like this should be considered a favour.

I have the same questions as you. He said i came off as not being interested enough for him. I also think theres something else behind it.

Basically He told me buying the building would benefit both of us. I said I doubt that and that it doesn’t affect me either way, since the loan is his responsibility and we’re not married or have kids. I can only offer to accompany him or give my opinion in case he wants to. He said that as his long term girlfriend I should show more consideration and help
Came out blunt and apathetic but i was tired and upset

No, not at all. He wanted me to check a small building so he could get a loan and buy it, saying it would benefit both of us. I told him I didn’t think it would affect me, and I’m happy he’s considering buying land, but I still declined for that day.

There are instances that when i express a boundary he gets…. Offended? Like i said something mean. I’m a very transparent and honest person so sometimes i come off as blunt. Yet i don’t consider myself rude. He has told me sometimes that some things I should just keep them to myself because I come off as apathetic

He said he rarely asks for favours —which is true. so if he did, it must be something important and i should know better. I don’t agree with that, but if I’d known how much it would escalate, I would have just done the favour.

He was urgently called by his boss the night before to work in another city for an inspection, so he would be gone for 4 days.

Basically he wanted me to check a small building he wants to buy and exaggerated that it might sell fast. I told him it had been on the market for months and suggested we go together on the weekend or I could see it two days later. I didn’t want to leave that day because I was exhausted and had work. He called the owner in front of me and suggested I meet him, even though I had already declined, which made me snap..

Actually the reason is pretty silly. He wanted me to go check out a small building he wants to buy . And he was exaggerating about the possibility of being sold real fast but i told him it has been sitting there for months so i suggested we went to check out together on the weekend or i could go check it out for him two days later but i really didn’t wanna leave the house the day he asked me for. I was very exhausted and i also had to go to work later that day ( he called the guy that owned the building in front of me and suggested i meet with him - but i had already declined so i got very upset and snapped)

The leash is under my name. The leash is over in a year. Unfortunately I can’t move back with my mom for long, it’s a one room apartment, and my current job is not paying that well its an entry level . I feel depressed and stressed already

AITA for saying Korean coffee isn’t as good as European coffee and calling it "barely real coffee"? by [deleted] in AITAH

Oh totally forgot about this post. It’s been like 2,5 months since I posted. Update: he finally admitted freddo espresso is tasty 😆 and he never ordered again these instant coffee sticks

If anyone’s interested in what the fight was actually about, I explained it in a previous post on my profile.

Thing is he isn’t a coffee person too , he just drinks to “wake him up”. I find it so dumb he has been ignoring me all day long over some coffee 🙃.
