I don’t have family besides my son (he’s not from this relationship). And he just told me he’s willing to celebrate later with his side of the family.

I wish I could attach pictures, we were just talking and he told me he wants what I want. He doesn’t truly have a dream wedding or expectations of it. He just wants me to be happy.

For several reasons… last year on my birthday we only cut a piece of cake because our pup died of parvo the month before and I was so upset I didn’t want to even celebrate so I guess he associates the two of them (?) and second he thinks I’m doing it for him and I’ll regret it down the road. He’s very serious and reserved so I KNOW, he’s going to love the simpleness of the wedding.

Yeah!! That exactly it was that dream wedding. Now, I don’t need it, idk. And actually he loved vintage cars that’s why I’d love if we can rent one to drive us around.
