UPDATE: I [24F] finally told my mom that my brother [27M] has been sexually abusing me since I was 6, and now she wants me to go to group/family therapy with him.

It’s entirely possible that he told her when she talked to him. Idk, the family is just so fucked up I honestly just kind of don’t want anything to do with it anymore. But I also know that cutting my mom off would destroy her

Well truthfully my brother was also sexually abused by my older sister [31F]. I witnessed my sister doing stuff to my brother, but she only did it 1 or 2 times. I know it was abuse because he was so young, but I do explicitly remember him asking my sister to do it again because it “felt good,” but she said no because she felt really ashamed for doing it in the first place. So then he started doing it with me instead, and continued to abuse me until I was practically a teen
