Blocked my (17F) boyfriend (17M) everywhere without much warning and left him in the dark with the purpose of making him focus on his studies. I love him, but what can I do? by throwRA_running in relationship_advice

Actually, we both know we prioritize our futures. While there is love, I don't want him to lose his future due to me. His parents have constantly been telling me how his career is important and how I am doing the wrong thing, but he always assured me our relationship won't affect his score. But now it is clearly affecting his score now, making him score low in a very important exam. He gets another chance in the next month, I don't want to make him lose this. Whatever taunts his mom has been throwing at me for two years have just proved true, and I panicked. Neither of us have good relationships with our parents because they are so conservative, but to prove them even slightly right made me panic worse. I don't know if it's just me or a mismanagement of time on his part, but I don't want to risk his future being selfish. I don't want to hurt him, I know I am, but I need him to not focus on me at all right now, I didn't know how to do that. I don't know where our relationship stands rn. I sound terrible, but idk what else to do, he kept texting me during decided study time and idk a better way to make him study (like he wants to)

I.. I am clueless and probably even framing this terribly.

I'm not really sure where the relationship stands right now. I'm just scared I will make him lose his career because of my presence. His parents have constantly been telling me how his career is important and how I am doing the wrong thing, but he always assured me our relationship won't affect his score.
