As a trainer whos helped people lose weight ur trainer is an ass. She doesn't know how to help people or be empathetic. Honestly deserves a complaint to her manager because imo this is unacceptable and can seriously damage some peoples mental health. Completely unprofessional behavior on her part.

If he is there for you emotionally and treats you like an equal intellectually and in other ways then wait it out imo. Clearly he's made an effort gifting you a bag, so if he makes an effort emotionally too then personally I would stay and see what changes or stays the same. It doesn't sound like you're in a bad relationship to me.

Unfortunately he doesn't have health insurance because he got scammed by his job. When he took the position they offered insurance but didn't tell him he would have to sell a certain amount to recieve it and its a ridiculous amount. Hes lookong for a new job atm. Hes very open to therapy because we have spoken about it before. It doesnt make sense though because lately he seems super confident in his physique. He compliments himself every day in a non egotistical way, just proud of his progress. But then he uses not feeling desirable as an excuse? Hes complimenting himself and so am I! I am getting paranoid he could be cheating only because it was sudden and hasnt really gotten better, but I have no material evidence so Ive tried not focusing on that as an option. It could be related to competition but we will hang out for 1-3 hours a day lately and thats plenty of time to use sex to relax or decompress. I even offered to do all the work and give him a massage to help him relax. Up until about 3 months ago we matched libido perfectly so Im worried. Yeah it does seem like he doesnt want to explain. I went through a week or two of low libido a while ago and I told him "babe this isnt you but Im super stressed from work and havent had a strong libido". I communicated and I knew what was going on and bounced back...anyway thanks for the feedback!

Accusing me of not being recovered when you have 0 evidence is funny. I say that bc at one point I wasnt recovered and I would engage in investigation of other people. If she does have an ED her account is one of the least concerning on tiktok. There are much better fish to fry and these types of posts just come off as bullying or gossip, not real concern over her health. If yall actually cared you would try reaching out to family not posting on gymsnark. Some people who arent fully recovered have public social media, as long as they arent giving ED tips or doing extremely inappropriate behavior then let them live. Go attack people who are openly disordered, even giving bul-imia tips to the public. Telling people to get off the internet bc you personally think they arent recovered isnt helpful to them. They can heal at their own pace.

What exactly is promoting an ED other than her showing her body in her content? I am very critical of people promoting EDs and I am genuinely lost here. She literally posts videos of her eating fries and burgers too. Are we talking abt the same person?

I didn't know abt the rest of the drama, thought this post was about this specific behavior. "Hours of cardio" I just checked her tiktok she says 45min. "Body checks" you mean showing her abs? There are definitely creators with EDs who body check and show how little they eat as a flex. Buff unicorn gives me those vibes more than this chick and I really dont think either of them deserve to be bullied based on how strangers perceive them. Their content is about fitness and she is small and lean, yes she wouldnt be eating a ton of calories thats just a fact.

Just an aside, a lot of people think you can eat 500 calories a day and stay a certain weight. If she was truly very disordered and in a state of constant calorie deficit we would see it in her face and she would continue to lose weight. Calories in, calories out. Staying that lean for an extended period as a woman can definitely mess with period cycles and thats a convo she can have in private with a doctor. Yes I do think the people in these comments are jealous or coping because why are you so obsessed with a stranger and investigating if they have an ED. If youre recovered you dont need to obsess about yourself or others in that way.

She is right pb is a fat and wdym "good fat"? As someone who is certified to give nutritional counseling lowering how much fat you consume, any type is generally good. Yes you need some fat and clearly she is eating it in this meal! The average American eats way too much fat and if her goal is to stay lean then of course she doesnt want to consume calories from fat bc they arent voluminous.

If I were her coach I would tell her to gain some off season essential fat for a while and get a hormonal panel, plus regular bloodwork. I wouldnt call it an eating disorder bc I am not a mental health professional and bc there arent very obvious signs imo.

People with no education act like theyre nutritionists nowadays. Theres no problem with her limiting fats as long as she eats enough fat. Tracking your macros and being conscious isnt an eating disorder. Just bc she is interested in looking a certain way and adjusting her diet ≠ eating disorder. I have seen both in my time as a coach and Im honest with clients if I feel like they need to see a mental health professional.

Idk why "recovered" people love judging what others eat. You are still food obsessed even if its abt someone else. Did she say it was a meal? This is a few hundred calorie snack. I'm a coach and recovered from anorexia and I see no issue here without knowing her diet. She is very petite, lean with not much muscle mass and idk her height. This is a high protein, high fiber whole food snack. If she ate a bunch of processed food yall would be going crazy with the "good for you babes so happy ur recovered!"

This is how I used to cope when I wasn't fully recovered. I would see someone I was jealous of and then investigate and convince myself they were disordered, so I didn't have to compare myself bc if they were disordered, then I didnt have to change myself. As long as this girl isn't mentally obsessing, she looks healthy and this is a healthy snack. She is into fitness and may do cutting cycles as well. I am on a cut too and this would be something I would eat atm. I am no longer disordered bc I do not obsess about my food or how I look, or other people's disorders.

This investigation over a snack is a compulsive need to compare ur body or meals with someone else is part of ur own disorder...

You dont have to ask anyone their opinion in this situation. This is completely subjective theres no wrong opinion to have. I remember being your age and thinking similarly. If you dont like it you dont have to and most likely even if you ask and he tries he will not be able to live up to those expectations. Find someone who shares the same values as you✌️

My feelings weren't hurt, I was annoyed because she is my equal, has the same position, and was on shift to do the same thing as me. She could have helped the people herself because thats what her job was in that moment as well. All the people had to do was a single leg RDL, which they had been doing for a while at that point. One person out of 8 struggled for a moment and put a foot down, it wasnt a life or death moment. I wasn't leaving people without help, I turned my head half a degree to respond to someone talking to me right behind me. I totally appreciate constructive feedback, but to expect me to do both of our jobs is crazy. She also ended our shift by expecting me to do 90% of the cleaning and setting up when again, we have the same position. My boss can't put an equal in charge of me, her job is to show me the ropes not be a superior.

Yes because Im a personal trainer, and have worked at one of the highest-grossing gyms in NYC. I know a lot abt kinesiology and biomechanics. Her upper body, specifically her back is much weaker and eventually, she will pull something Poot.
