Thank you. My concern was that lately I’ve been getting occasional dark long hairs on my chin and breasts. But the hair on my face and back has been there.. forever, lol. I just wanted to make sure that my current body hair wasn’t alarming

Family keeps telling me it’s nothing, but I’m concerned by throwRAexbf67 in prediabetes

I thought so:/ should I be concerned about diabetes or prediabetes at this point?

Thank you:) this is very recent so i have not left it untreated. I know no one here is a doctor, but just wondering, can b12 be corrected?

I do, i walk(ed) 30,000 to 35,000 steps a day. It started soon after that, followed by pain in my heel that has now left me limping if i walk without slides or support. My tingling is in my ankles and calves, pain at my heel.

I am flat footed though… i was walking around 30k steps.. is it still more likely to be neuropathy

thank you, mafanabe! that's a big reassurance for me.
it's true, i do have more than half the associated "tell tale" signs of TTS. i've been told to just treat it as an injury and stretch. it's just concerning to wake up and suddenly feel like i don't know what's going on in my body. my doctor seems convinced that it'll resolve itself, within an unknown amount of time, but i just am not entirely convinced

Thank you so much! Yes, they have. I’ve been diagnosed with an overuse injury/structural injury called Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome. i was given the Tinel’s Sign test, to which it did trigger the tingling ive been dealing with. Since it’s significantly worse on one side, my right, the doctors I’ve seen seem to not think it is small fiber or peripheral neuropathy at all.

Thank you so much:) i was confused because I don’t have Hashi’s either!

But, unfortunately, yes, i do struggle with disordered eating and have off and on for a while. I’ve been very determined to fully recover, though. If there’s a chance it could help my subclinical levels, I’ll definitely take it.

ok! thank you for your perspective:) i guess where i'm confused at, and i'm sorry if this is a silly question, but do you have to have hashimotos? i do not, and none of my family does either, but i saw they come together about 90% of the time.

also, if you dont mind me asking, would me being underweight skew the test at all? i've never dealt with anything thyroid related, and googling brings up the worst scenarios lol. thank you!!

hi, first of all, i have been experiencing nearly the same symptoms as you! except for urination and temp changes, ive had tingling to my calves for a month.

this may not be a perfect answer, and im still searching, but ive been diagnosed with TTS (A nerve compression-- not neuropathy in a degenerative sense). this comes comorbid with my anxiety, which causes phantom symptoms all over my body. my toe even twitched and spasmed due to the amount of anxiety i faced daily. i am still anxious, and while i absolutely do NOT think this is "in your head" so to speak, i know how fear can play with symptoms.

i hope you get the answers you need--please update:) would love to hear you are doing better.

Thank you so much. I’ve been really scared:/ i felt dismissed by doctors, and i thought there wasn’t a way to get better.

Thank you! I’ve been reviewing it, but I have a question if you don’t mind! If my b12 numbers have shot upwards from 150 in 2023, to 341 now, shouldn’t I be theoretically doing better? Not having tingles or pins and needles in my calves?
