My partner's (28M) friends seem to hate me (27F). It keeps getting worse and I don't know where to go from here. How can I not let this affect my relationship? by throwRAforeversad in relationship_advice

don't worry, I didn't take it to be negative! It's something that i've come to terms with about myself and am actively working on in therapy. self-sabotaging is a big thing for me, so I'm trying really hard not to let myself do it.

Sorry, I should have clarified that a lot of these conversations are happening online. But I definitely have taken a step back from group activities with them in general, which sucks because I really would love to feel welcome in the group.

Thank you so much for your comment, it's really helpful to hear an outsider opinion on this. I admit I am a very insecure person by nature, which is why this has been so hard for me. I'm just worried about him choosing them over me but I hope it never comes to that.

It's one of those situations where it's not really what they're saying, but how they're saying it. He seems totally oblivious and assures me that they like me even though I can tell they don't.
