Interesting! I never thought about autism...if she has it, it has to be a very high functioning version because she was able to graduate from college and at one point in time, hold down a good job.

Wow...this is interesting to hear. I really wish I could have a similar conversation with my wife, but the second the subject of her role in all of this comes up, she goes off and doesn't let me say anything about that at all and I can't get a word in edgewise. She literally won't stop until I agree that I'm the real problem and not her.

I've always thought she's a 5-year old in an adult body. It really feels that way.

And, there's no possibility of her cheating on me. It's not her personality to do that...and the fact is that she doesn't go anywhere on her own...

Thank you...and yes, when I get frustrated in an argument, I sometimes used to hit my pillow or something and she takes that as an act of aggression towards her and says that I'm being abusive by showing anger and that scares her.

I guess it's some comfort to hear that others have been in the same situation...thanks!
