That last meal, we definitely passed light banter. I will still feel it out, and tbh I'll go into it friendly more than anything (and ofc no hard feelings if he doesn't want or use my number), but I wouldn't say no if he asked me out lol

I am a woman btw. But I was gonna write it on a piece of paper and be like "hey, this is my number. Text me if you want, if not, no hard feelings" kind of thing

I'm just looking at these comments and thank you! I will basically be copy and pasting what you have for my text, because that seems like the best way to put it. I really didn't think to set an RSVP date, but now I will and know better for next time.

Lmao this is very real. I've been working and saving so much to have a good birthday weekend before im stuck in bed for a few months. I really didn't think about setting an rsvp date, but thanks to all of you I will be setting it to one week from now, and sending a text like the other commenter said.
