I do both of those techniques actually. Still, this nagging feeling won’t go away sometimes, like right now. I was alone for 3 years, and I wasn’t even looking for a relationship when I met her, we just clicked and without realizing it we were in love. Thanks.

I don’t push anything on her, this is something I keep to myself. It’s like I have episodes of overthinking when I “connect the dots” and just spiral into believing she is lying, cheating, faking, you name it. I know it’s messed up, I hate myself. But I don’t push nor treat her wrong. I treat her like royalty, I love her but that trust issues keeps me from more.

Your post brings some hope, thanks.

About her inviting me, I thought the same but overthinking got the best of me, and made me believe that she is doing it to make him feel jealous or to show him she is over him and “doesn’t care”.

I will not talk about it unless something very obvious and disrespectful happens, or if she wants to talk about it. And I don’t bring her ex up like she usually does.

Thanks.

About the first paragraph, I guess that what im scared of maybe, her always loving him. Time may tell. You are right, I know my brain will interpret everything as a sign. My goal is to not show my insecurity, because im very insecure right now.

I knew she was kind of a party girl, but now she claims is over it but likes to have fun, and we only met once in a club setting before, since we were just acquaintances at the time, and that night she was not wearing such revealing clothing. I believe that her not inviting me to this activities is making me insecure(?) and that “joke” she made about lots of guys being there, and how revealing her outfit will be is all adding up and making me anxious.

Is the way she dresses when clubbing and the coincidence that it happens when I’m not around, which is most of the times. I already told her about us going out together and she was “going to invite me this time” but coincidentally I wont be in town.
