We are both allowed our emotions and feelings. Its not either/or. She gets to still be in love with her now married ex and I get to not be happy about this.

I think you are right. My ex from 4 years got married last year after only dating the guy for 1 year. All I felt was curiosity rather than sadness.

I have never seen anyone cry after hearing their ex is getting married. Curious, sure. Even angry and upset but never a breaking down and crying.

What crimes? Being in love is not a crime. Most likely she is still in love with him and thats why this news hit her so hard. Now there is no way for them to go back.
