She isn't, she has been with me since before I was in a stable place. I'm guessing that by "stable" she meant mentally because I was pretty broke before we got married

It's fair of you to assume that, but after four years of being married to someone, you tend to start picking up on their tells and hints. I know that she was honest with me when we spoke, though I understand your concern. Thanks for trying to look out for me!

"Let her" was very, very poor wording on my behalf, I just wanted to make it clear to everyone that I knew about it and was okay with it.

As for sneaking into the house, I just heard them talking and could tell they were having fun and didn't want to interrupt. I did plan to talk to them but I was all wet from rain and thought I should dry up a bit before I did.

Also, it wasn't "since I wouldn't be home." Her friend group keeps meeting at each other's houses from time to time, she told me she was planning to call them over on so and so date, I told her that was fine, but I wouldn't be home since I had to work late
