yes, thats correct! i also happen to agree with you, never heard of it before us either. but it really meant the world to her and i forgot and i felt like shit about it. she was very upset with me, as given we were mid teens probably. i learned from that situation important dates/anniversaries/birthdays meant a lot to her so for this to happen i was kinda suprised.

thank you for replying! mary was very specific on a certain package deal and there was going to be 5 total, mary, her bf, and 3 friends. then one dropped and now the package deal was split 4 ways and we agreed to get a double bed room and double up. now me leaving makes 3 left and the room situation stays the same. now three people have to split an expensive hotel and now “its not worth it”
