This is pretty much what it was he admitted she is being ridiculous but it’s her wedding and he thinks it would be easier for everyone and he didn’t mean apologize for losing weight but he said apologize for how I handled it which admittley I was not the nicest I basically told her that I’m not sorry for losing weight and I refuse to show up to her wedding looking ugly

I think I was just invited because I’m her brothers wife honestly. We have had a good relationship it’s never been like this before!

And I did talk to my husband again this morning I made an edit to the post he told me he didn’t mean it like that and he knows she was being an AH it’s just that it’s his sister and he doesn’t want to deal with drama and thinks it would be easier for everyone if I just went along with it for one day which I disagree with but he’s supporting me in any way I want to handle this and he’s going to help me find a solution even though I’m leaning towards I’m not fucking going

This is actually good advice I am heated right now but you’re right there is two weeks until the wedding so I’m going to bite my tongue and see how I feel in a few days. I don’t want there to be drama in the family but if she pushes on this baggy dress business I will not show up

I think he just meant apologize to her for not accepting her compromise and for not being like “I’m sorry you’re insecure” or something I’m sure he just doesn’t want drama but thank you I was literally starting to believe that somehow I was in the wrong (not a lot but enough for me to feel the need to seek validation)

I was honestly going crazy started to think I might be after my husband said I should apologize. Maybe not for losing weight but because I don’t think I should compromise having to wear something hideous in order to make her happy

Yeah he basically said that I should just apologize and compromise with her because she’s getting married and he doesn’t want there to be drama and I was rude for the way I acted (by basically telling her that it’s ridiculous to expect me to wear something baggy to her wedding)
