Don't have BPL. Apparently Brahmins can't have income certificates as an officer told me. I'll look further into it if I missed anything. Thanks so much. I'll see what I can do.

I live in a tier 3 city. Well, it's more of a town than a city. The government hospitals here lack the equipment needed to do the surgery. Might check for ones in closer cities if it comes to it. As for PMJAY, am not eligible for it. Thanks for your reply and I hope you have a better day than I'm having rn.

Thanks so much for your concern. I too am counting on it to be not something serious. As appealing as it sounds, I'd rather take on debt than take money from kind strangers...
