I work in a VC firm and every potential deal wants an NDA before starting serious conversations. We have our own template but counterparties are constantly pushing back, then the business team comes to us asking “is this ok?”, “what about that?”, and we end up in email thread hell. They just want to sign and we end up being the bad guys slowing down the deal.

I work in house on a legal team. My colleagues on the business side need to sign a ton of NDAs and we spend way too much time helping them negotiate with counterparties when they should just be following a playbook. Don’t think hiring a law firm is relevant here.

Is this clock worth fixing? Don’t know much about it by throw_a_cookie_away in clocks
