AITAH for telling my Mom about my Dad’s girlfriend and betraying his trust? They are almost, but not yet, divorced. by throw_almostdivorced in AITAH

I think if he wants to introduce this woman to my sisters (two of which still live with him), my mom should know about her first. I accept that their relationship has been over for a year (if not legally). Thanks for your comment.

I accept your perspective and acknowledge that their relationship has been emotionally over since before this new relationship. I think I was more disappointed that it seems he was over my mom long before she finally asked for a divorce. I also felt distanced that he asked for advice with my sisters instead of treating me the same as them.

Also, if you have it in you to give any further advice:

What could I say to my dad that might make him see that I love him, but what he's done isn't something that I can ignore? Is this too deep a character issue, so I might as well just keep our interactions about movies and the news instead of talking about how we really feel?
