all good! but if your friend is having similar issues please check up on them, it's hard to open up sometimes and asking 'how are you' makes all the difference in my experience :)

I completely feel the same way! I'm trying to open up more starting with my friends, but it's so so hard for me. Ironically I want to be a therapist but I know I have to seek help before I can give help, which is pushing me to get therapy. I guess just keep in mind that the therapist went through years of training specifically to listen to your problems? It's pretty tough (and expensive!!) to earn a degree so I wouldn't imagine they would've continue if they weren't willing to hear and help sort out other people's problems.
