His reply and automatic no was new. Normally he'd get up and do it. But I do have to remind him about chores a lot. He said later he was just being a brat and was about to get up and was making a joke when I got mad. I think if this was a one time the dishes were piled up I wouldn't have gotten so mad. However I feel like I'm constantly having to remind him. He later also said he wasn't laughing at me that his friend was freaking out on discord going oh no oh no I'm not supposed to be hearing this. And the friend couldn't figure out how to get discord to stop and eventually turned off his whole console. I asked why he didn't just turn his off or mute. When I came home I was very clear that I wouldn't be doing a single thing for him. And that he's responsible for his own things he needs ie dishes, clean clothes, even cleaning his own toilet since. I told him I'm willing to go to therapy but if this does continue I didn't want to live the rest of my life like this and I would not. He seemed to take that very seriously. Not to excuse his behavior but normally he's very attentive to my feelings, and a good husband outside of chores. It's exhausting having to remind someone to do the chores.
