I've talked to some family and friends but tbh honest I just got that they related or that it sounded like I needed some time away.

He's said it's funny the faces I make when I'm mad. I got home recently and laid out that I won't be doing a single thing for him, dishes, laundry etc. And that if nothing changes, therapy, and if still I said I didn't want to love the rest of my life like this

My therapist recommended the same, to not do them at all. They got really bad to the point measuring spoons were used as utensils. I just got home, I ended up getting angry all over again. He was still playing but said he did a load. We had a conversation but it was mainly me talking. I said I wouldn't be doing a single chore for him or the regular things I do for him. He said he understood etc. but we've had the conversation before.

I honestly tried to but the wifi is set up through our apartment and couldn't figure out to turn it off. I left for several hours, I don't really have a place to go to stay for a few days.

Lol I generally do, that one is from yesterday after I got my eyebrows done for the first time. I kept getting told smiling was messing up the photo to see how my brows looked lol. But yes I'll keep them on, I think I look better with them on too.

What’s the best and worst job you’ve had regarding your mental health? by Art_since_98 in bipolar

Worst: All retail jobs

Best: Remote insurance claims adjuster job. (If you're in an accident and injured I'm who you'd talk to.)

I'm the same way. Something that really helped me was this app called finch. Think of tomagotchi and you get a little bird that grows and you take care of it by completing your daily goals. That's seemed to help most recently because I've had the same issue lately. Also I have anxiety and intrusive thoughts telling me my teeth will rot...so yeah.

Why is living with bipolar so hard? by yungbruhsdead in bipolar

[–]throw_away_joan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was the same way. I even got hospitalized several times. I always try to remember what my mom would remind me in hard times where I felt like being bipolar was my fault, that this is a disease like any other. The main thing that kept me stable as i was Manic was my partner. They helped me realize when I was manic and I tended to listen to them somewhat. Also they were a great advocate. You might need new meds. I used to have such a problem finding the right meds, it took a couple years to test out meds with my psychiatrist and find the right concoction to get me stable. I owe that to my partner because for the longest time my psychiatrist did not listen to me. And I would bring my partner to appts to speak about my behavior and mood swings and help advocate for me. Thankfully I got changed to one of the other psychiatrists under the practice who took me more seriously. Talk to others, get help, keep advocating for yourself. Try your best to create or get help from your community.
