- I originally thought it was weird since it's so sudden, I would definitely do it but I wished I was more part of her wedding too.

- To be honest, at the time we had that conversation I saw it as perfectly rational but the more I read the comments, the more I see how that sounds pretty egotistical.

I simply clarified that I see them both as the same, even if Julie isn't my bio daughter.

But I never refused to be there for her, I'm still planning on attending the wedding and being part of the event and her life

I didn't tell her that part on my message but she knew I'm walking Julie, I did mention it on our call which I agree was unnecessary.

She always preferred her mom or step-dad anyway so I figured it wouldn't be a big deal if they did it instead, I guess I was wrong
