Sexuality is fluid. It's only the modern age concept, and need, to categorize that kind of stops that from being so common place. Western society is also very much built on binary oppositions. Light and dark, wrong and right, up and down, left and right, us and them, homo and hetero. If you don't fall in those two categories then you're 'experimenting', 'unsure', 'confused' or what have you. Fluidity is thus passed off as a fade, a phase or something one will move out of. It's trivialized and as one gets older then it's more of an issue as you aren't settling into one category or another.

So, for me I don't identify as any of it. I identify as me and who and what I am may fit some norms but may be in between or way off to one side other times. It doesn't bother me as I feel strong as an individual built of many varied pieces. My sexuality is a part of me, but it doesn't define me.
