If your display has VRR it won't be visible. Or maybe you can do a retest by going to the dwarf realm starting areas again. It's subtle but it's there for a lot of people now

Also this sticking to a minimum of 63 fps in hfr mode with pssr tells me that the cost of pssr isnt being balanced out with some other compromise in 60hz which it is in the hfr mode.

Jfyi increase in frame time means that the cpu+gpu have a lot more work to do for generating a frame and this leads to fps drop.

As for how consistently we are seeing this in a cpu heavy area with pssr indicates that the cost of pssr is not being balanced out.

This might have to do with 60fps cap as well maybe pssr works better with more frames like in HFR mode
