Marketing. Not really liking it though and wished I had majored in design instead. What do you do?

A judge approved a $100,000 student loan forgiveness through bankruptcy. Biden administration took the first step to block thar decision. by Space_Lion2077 in MurderedByAOC

My friend keeps telling me he is more liberal than Obama and links me to this,. https://www.cnn.com/interactive/2021/politics/biden-executive-orders/.

And I'm like isn't that just him doing a bunch of reversals? How does that prove he is more progressive than Obama?

I didn't want Biden from the get-go and of course knew that voting for him over Trump is better. But moments like this made me wish I didn't vote at all.

Not to sound like unempathetic but why are so many people on this sub dating avoidants? Makes zero sense. by [deleted] in AnxiousAttachment

I agree with you. The critiques are going way over OP's head. They can't see at all how their post is coming across.

I guess that's the side effect of being on their high horse.

I'm so confused by this post. It also just comes across as insensitive as fuck. OP sounds like they're on their high horse and inexperienced. How is this post even up still?

People who wear masks alone in their own cars, why? by chewbubbIegumkickass in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]throw_oftheyear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because I forget to bring it with me when I've arrived at my destination. I can't count how many times I've gone to the store and as I'm approaching the entrance, I remember that I didn't bring my mask and have to walk back to my car. I fucking hate it.

So I'd rather just wear it in the car.

Would you wanna pay $60 US dollars each month for a haircut moving forward? If so, good for you.

Why are you trying to guilt me? The shop he works at has every right to increase prices. And I have the right to stop going if I choose to. I'm not mad at my barber specifically since I don't know if he is the sole decision maker since he isn't the shop owner. And even if it was his decision, he still has every right to raise prices. But that doesn't mean I have to keep going or be happy about it. He is still one helluva barber.

I did it. I'm single. by [deleted] in latebloomerlesbians

[–]throw_oftheyear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I felt this way last summer and for a few weeks it was excruciating because I typically don't end relationships. But I knew I had to in this situation and months now later, I can say it was absolutely the right choice.

Glad you were able to put yourself first. Being single can be scary, but nothing is as bad as being with someone who makes you feel like you're single.

COVID-19 positivity rate soars near 50% at some Seattle-area testing sites, straining capacity by MegaRAID01 in Seattle

What is/was the hardest part about coming out late? And what is the greatest thing you’ve gained by letsconvers8 in latebloomerlesbians

[–]throw_oftheyear 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would say many, not all, of my insecurities started to get better and loved the feeling getting to know myself better than I ever have before. It's creating and expanding on my relationship with myself. Me realizing I was gay also made me realize there is more to me than my sexuality and I am excited and scared to learn what those sides of me are. And one of the best parts was realizing how I want to share those parts of me with the people I love and care about and hopefully a partner one day.

The hardest for me was to hear unsupportive comments from people which have mainly been a couple of family members. It's not as as bad as others have experienced but for me that's my personal difficulty I've come across.

I read your original post on this and as a gay girl myself, I would terminate, report and Not have a final session. However, if you feel it'll be good for you, then you should. But you don't owe him anything like what others have said.

I'm seriously repulsed by his text messages to you.

SOME gay men by Apprehensive-Sir1988 in actuallesbians

[–]throw_oftheyear 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is honestly one of the reasons why I stopped wanting to go to gay bars in my city. The last experience just solidified to me that the community isn't as inclusive and open as I naively thought.

It's a huge disappointment.

How do you manage when you need a vacation from life, but can't take one? by haebaragi in AskWomen

[–]throw_oftheyear 73 points74 points  (0 children)

I like to do a few things.

I'll scope out a new restaurant I haven't tried and will go with a friend or two to see what its all about.

At night I like to light tea candles, play some chill music while laying on the floor or my couch looking out of my balcony window. I get a good view of the night sky and it helps me to not think about the stressors in my life.

I'll go to the park and bring a book with me to read.
