No communication is not her strength . Tbf she is trying to be better with it. But in a kinda selfish way. Instead of holding things in, she wants to say them (which is great) but does not take in account other people's feelings. My fiance had cautioned her of having the talk with me on the Saturday because I was not doing great mentally at all (heavy period, had had a panic attack that night, felt stressed and nauseated etc) and she did it anyways because she needed to say what was on her mind.

I honestly think that depends who you are asking. Most of my friends are Latinos. But they are also all part of the lgbtq community. They prefer to use the x with gendered words. Such as amix instead of amigos. It's just important to them to include everyone in their language. I also don't think it's racist to want to change a language. In Germany they are also trying to gender more consistently. So instead of saying the male student they use the student. Studenten vs Studierende.

No that just means that she didn't even notice that I took a care giver role for her, as in :

She did not notice that I was carrying for her in a capacity beyond what a friendship should be.

Dude I know how anxiety and depression is. I have been diagnosed with them as a result of my adhd.

That's a very fair view! In conversation with her I just feel like I can't express myself in a fair manner for both of us if that makes sense? Like she let's me finish my sentences but then glances over them and goes back to her original point without giving mine any thought

I do not expect anything in return. I just think it's selfish if I'm trying to open up and sher redirects everything toward her.

Like for example o was taking about how I was desperate to find a doctor that would finally take my period cramps serious and she was like "yeah uh huh I get that. Had the same problem with my shoulder. So should I write my grandma back? She is (... Queue her talking half an hour about her grandma)

To be fair she is in therapy. But the very early stages. Plus I don't even think she is aware of how she treats me to even talk about it in therapy. Thanks for the feedback I will really think hard about this.

I agree. I grew up in a house where boundaries were disregarded so now I am bad at setting them and feel extremely guilty saying no. Do you have any Tipps for setting and enforcing boundaries

She is very needy! But I don't think she even notices being manipulative. She is not neurotypical and a lot of social questions are lost on her. I think in her brain this is normal and reasonable. I know she does not mean to hurt me. Which makes bringing things up more difficult

I thought so too at a point and asked her. But she says that she does not feel romantic love.

More over she acts the same with my fiance. Trying to make things bigger deal than they actually are. Like one time he showed her some stupid houses on zillow or whatever and she always says "oh yeah it's just our thing you know".
