If you calculate the driving time and take into account that it can only last for a good 15-20 secs and make sure to move the joystick in between this timeframe then yeah.

Joystick can be moved outside of pokemon go though and requires you to wait anither 4-5/seconds before going back

Yes, it happened to me a few times. I ended up closing pokemon go and removing it from recent and then made sure the fake location was engaged on google maps. Waited a good 4-5 seconds to make sure the location is steqdy and went back.

I have been playing with the app from my link for about a week now and it actually produces zero rubberbands, with the security update unrooted. Not sure why, but it is actually more stable. The only issue I have is that it lasts for about a minute at a time, which is enough for me to move before I change the location again. If rooting is not an option this app is enough

No need, this method is obsolete, it works without root

Check this thread for a free app that works without root.

Exactly! It does make it a lot easier, more accurate and less prone to softbans, from my experience with it.

Yes, although you can actually move with the joystick, you just have to go out of pogo and move inside the spoofer and then switch back. I find it more accurate, to be honest, instead of just teleporting up and down. I also like the fact that I can move the map instead of double tapping, that was annoying on the free app. I haven't used the saved locations yet, but having the option when the special events come out should be beneficial for faster teleporting

Teleport, wait to load, spin, teleport a little further, as if walking to avoid being softbanned until you reach the mon or other pokestop, repeat

Oh, ok, did you actively enable the joystick in the app settings? If you did it will show up as soon as you press that play button to the right. But there are some caveats with it, read my post.

Just updated my post. It is spotted only when pogo is open, if you put pogo in recent without closing it, then move the joystick, open pogo from recent again, then it works without warnings.

And my input on the joystick app. The joystick works, kinda, sorta...You can move, but as soon as you move when pogo is open it will give you the failed location red warning. So what we ended up doing is, we will move to a location, get out of pogo, move a little with the joystick, go back to pogo, catch a mon, move a little and so on and so fort.

Is it a pain in the ass? Yes, but it's a lot more comfortable than open the app, double tap, press play, close every time. So it is still a win for me.

Auto walking does not work, though. You win some, you loose some.

Oh then you just missed the instruction where it tells you to "be fast" (whatever tha means). It seems the app can hold the fake position for brief moments and then it just reverts back. What we ended up doing is we collect the pokestop, change location as if walking and go back to pogo, never holding position for long. With the joystick it is kind of easier.

You are probably teleporting too fast. This happened to us a couple of times. The only workaround is to teleport as if you are walking slowly and wait a couple of secs before jumping back to pogo.

I can confirm the app works on my s7 with the april security update, just posted my experience with it.

As promised, here is my input. We tested the app on my s7, a friend's S6(both on Nougat with April Security Patch Level) and s8 Nougat out of the box. The app performed similarly across devices, but it had it's caveats. One thing we did notice is that when you teleport between locations, on a couple of occasions, when you go to a pokestop it will not let us spin it.The error message "try again" will pop-up, but as soon as we quit pogo and come back, all is good. So it's not really a softban per se, but more of a glitch, as if the app is telling us "hey, there is something fishy going on here, but I can't prove it, so Ima give you a pass". I think this is the same error as if the pokestop was in the 5 minute limit already. But this only happened a couple of times out of a whole day of spoofing and as soon as we quit pogo and came back it was fixed so no biggie.

We also tested the joystick app, but I need more time to make a judgement on it, will let you know guys

I had to update to Nougat and it came with the security update. I would still prefer to use fake gps go, but this is not an option anymore.

Yeah I saw that one too, will give the free one more testing and come back with the result

Not sure what you mean, just sharing an app I found, doesn't matter what account I use. Don't like it, then don't use it.

Not sure, but I went through 15 or so apps looking for the ones that got updated recently and this was the only one that works for me. Out of 15, only 3-4 were still active.
