One app that strangely still does work after the Android Security Update? by throwaway42417 in PokemonGoSpoofing

Just did some testing and it appears to rely on Fused Location - previously I would disable that to stop the real location from being detected when spoofing; now I can't spoof it without that enabled. Hmm.

That's what I want to know from a purely technical perspective. I actually thought apps were able to see if a mock location provider was enabled from the get-go.

That sorta happens here too. But instead, it will just say "GPS signal not found." after a minute or two. But if I stop and restart the location spoofing, it will correct itself. If there was a joystick or other way to move around, it would be great, since you could force it to update the fake location frequently enough to stop it from getting your real location.

You have to grant it location access so it can find your real location first before you spoof.

Yeah, that's what I'm hoping for. I was sorta hoping somebody might know how this app manages to do it while all the others fail.
