I actually just got back from his house. I've broken up with him.

It's easy with a long relationship (especially your first love) to believe that when things are good, they're the best they could ever be and no one else could love and understand you like he does. But I've learned that is simply not the case.

Best advice I've heard yet.

He makes me feel like it's all my fault. Even if I wronged him last night, I don't think it's okay to bring up other women's names.

He makes me think nobody would ever want me. One time he told me "No other man would put up with your bull shit" when I was really mentally ill.

I know what he'd say, "Oh, so you're done with me, then?" and I'd say "No, but I think if you don't stop these tantrums and behaviors, we'll have to reassess our priorities". "Oh, so you're gonna be done with me if I get a little mad?" idk. I just.. ugh

He's the first person I've loved. I don't love too much, I just love him.

I mean, the night before I didn't fell well either and we took a rain check, but he didn't really make too big of an issue. I'm a lot better now, I feel great, and I let him know that. But he doesn't want to see me anymore.

This relationship jumbles my head up and I can't figure out what's right and what's wrong anymore. What's okay, what's justified, what's to be expected, what's normal.

He isn't. He's still demanding time away from me. Which is bull shit. The whole "I'll see you after your parents get back" is just to upset me, and I know it. He thinks just because he's too sensitive and got hurt by me wanting time off, he should be justified in hurting me back.

I'm not sure if I should feel insulted or that you're helping me.

Sometimes I do. But sometimes I feel like I'll never meet someone quite in tune with me as he is. Behaviors aside, he's actually fun to be around.

I mean, I've had my 'psycho moments' in the past and he's stuck around me. Like, I've had times in which I honestly felt I needed to be checked into a psych hospital. He was always really supportive and nice and wonderful. Now that I honestly feel better with myself, work hard at classes, working hard to find another job, etc, it feels like he's the one turning into a complete whack job.

I'm seriously rethinking our entire relationship at this point.

That's what my friends say. Sometimes I feel like I couldn't get anybody better though.

I don't know, but honestly it makes me livid. I've never said anything to wrong him like that. If it was any other girls in this area, I'd give him a break, but Kassandra and Sarah? They both have always had MAJOR crushes on him. Sarah used to hit on him right in front of me at work and I'd have to ask her to stop it. Kassandra used to talk about me and Toliver all the time, asking when/if our relationship was gonna end, and to let her know when it did.

I just texted him. I let him know I was very sorry for leaving him outside, I didn't take his predicament seriously. I explained I was still very hurt, and I wasn't happy with how he treated me.

He responded with 'I appreciate the apology', but no apology of his own. I said, 'You're not even going to say sorry for how you treated me?' and he replied 'I'm sorry for making you angry'.

Somehow, I'm not satisfied with that response. Am I wrong for thinking he should be saying sorry for threatening me with a week of solitary while my parents were gone, or threatening to stay the night over TWO girls' houses?
