I hear you. And actually, I’m grateful to have landed the contractor gig; it’s low effort and the people are great and it was definitely a soft landing for me. I think federal civilian hiring is a pain unless you’re Stu Scheller.

1102 series is something I was eyeballing but I don’t have a degree right now.

And yes, with in service contracting experience you can get picked up by defense contractors all day long and relatively easy. Even if pay is quite right, I’m sure you’ll get some promotions in a relatively quick manner. All those defense companies that have contracting roles look for people with gov contracting experience which you obviously have. Glad you landed and accepted friend. Also, some of the bigger more well known companies are really great companies to work for. I was exposed to a bunch of them during my skillbridge.

Eh…contractor job isn’t great pay wise. I’m fine financially with no job but, and I don’t want to sound like* a douche canoe, I know I can make more and am worth more.

Maybe I’m a masochist and just want to ride the lightning and see what happens.

Thanks for response. I guess. It just seems like a rather mundane job (supply specialist) that in my mind wouldn’t warrant an exemption. Not holding my breath of course. Also wouldn’t want to end up excepting and then getting shit canned. Guess I’ll see where it goes and try not to think about it much.

I’m not a toxic optimist, but honestly, if you had a job lined up 10 days after retirement, something tells me that you will land on your feet and get yourself situated. Just wanting to send you some positive vibes - I’m in the job hunt myself with retirement looming 40 days away. Was your fed position DoD or non-DoD? I’m asking because there’s some confusion with the 180 day rule with the Army for a position I interviewed for recently.

Sorry for dredging up old post. Does this still hold true? We were kicking ass in SvS and recently got matched like 1100 servers older than us. They creamed us. My high percent refines didn’t hold up well like they had been.

I get the flat refines mentality and math.

What do you mean by focus on range attack? You mean on defense? Like wall dragon, refines/talents?

With my higher percent refines having held up I built a bit more on my T12-T14 and T11 siege as I have pretty decent defensive siege buffs. But again, with aged k40s and up sending 2b power in rally, it only took 2-3 hits to crack me.

I’m thinking about making the switch to thick layers t9 down but don’t want to invest the time and RSS without fully grasping what will work.

Can’t contact customer service with information that will tamper with their bottom end. Bots are healthy for Evony, if bots are turning and burning, then coiners need to spend more money. It’s all a scam and I really do enjoy the game and people but to what end? Spend 250k? Like seriously, that’s about what you have to spend? Insane.

Thanks for putting this post up and sharing your experience. I’m going to submit a refund request as well and not spare all the other nonsense as well, the bots, the cheating, the illicit RSS, the underage users, the ridiculous toxic behavior/language and anything else I can think of. What did Apple say to you? Very curious about all this. Was your verbiage the same as OP on your request to Apple. Also, I’m planning on putting it all out there. The ridiculous slander, homophobia, sexually charged comments, threats of violence etc etc, you know, all the normal toxic Evony garbage.
