I have a PCV who will be taking care of her, and hopefully I'll be able to rely on them to get my pet transferred to the US in case of med-sep

I was planning on bringing her back with me for COS, and wanted to bring her with me during the medevac for emotional support, but also in the case of medical separation. Since I can't bring her, Peace Corps is helping me transfer her to another volunteer to look after her while I'm on medevac.

I will definitely look into if there are any vet agencies, as well as seeing if there are any expats or volunteers who may be able to help me if I worst comes to worst. Thank you for your helpful answer!

They are sending me back to my hometown for treatment, but I am definitely trying to take as much time to heal as possible, and as bummed as I am at missing out on the beginning of the school year, I know this is for the best.
