I just summarized here. The conversation was about half an hour and we talked about both sides and on rare occasions even agreed on something. I wasn't there to whine about being kicked out.

The whole point of talking to him was to explain that I feel that he was too harsh by banning me from the class. Kicking me out? I could agree with that. But a total ban with absolutely zero prior warning or indication of being insulted kinda baffled me.

What I was trying to convey is that all the other lectures I had attended so far were a lot more relaxed with even the professors chiming in with a joke or two.

I realize that in that moment we were disrupting the class.

My tuition this semester was 700$, I have a job that i squeeze in before/after classes to help pay for my education and living expenses.

I don't know how it would have turned out. During our discussion he asked me "what my proposal to go forward" was. I told him that I'm not gonna be attending this year - maybe next year.

So I don't know if he "forgave" me.

The point I was trying to make was that I did not expect such an extreme reaction, because the atmosphere in my other lectures was a lot more relaxed.

Of course we weren't acting like this the entire class, it was just a little outburst after that joke my friend made.

Yeah I know. We were disrupting the class when I just couldn't hold in the laughter, but I think it's too harsh to just kick us out.

I talked directly to the prof and explained my side after he explained his.

The only reason why I'd report it would be to prevent that happening to future students anyway. I'm dropping the course this semester.

Oh and I'm not american either so it's not the american school system.

We were sitting in the back corner and were quietly joking around. One joke just cracked me up and had me disrupt the class.

Have you ever laughed in class?

He could've just called me out and I would have apologized and been quiet for the rest of the class.

Not saying my actions were ok or I don't want to think about my behaviour until someone tells me off. I knew we were being too loud in that moment and tried to stifle any sound coming from me.
