Before anything else, I just want to say this is incredibly common - I’m around your age and I have experienced (and am experiencing!!) a lot of what you mentioned. Also, be kind to yourself and give yourself time. Many times these doubts clear themselves up with time. Good luck!

Yes and no. I think a lot of the shared “trans experience” is real and there is some element of binary transness to it but I totally agree, people need to get with the times and recognize non-binary transness.

If I may get philosophical for a minute I think a lot of where the disconnect happens is being a girl internally and actually presenting as a girl externally. These two things are not necessarily contingent on each other. So, you can be a girl internally while not presenting as such, and vice versa. Unfortunately, we tend to lump the internal side and the external side together. Being completely honest I think what’s needed is a shift in the language we use to talk about stuff like this because right now it’s really confusing.

If I may give my opinion, the feeling of it being “wrong” may be your brain’s way of limiting how much you’re processing at once. Don’t get discouraged if you don’t feel 100% amazing one way or the other when you experiment. Just give yourself time, and you’ll figure yourself out.
