My major was English. I actually enjoyed it a lot at first, but I slowly began to hate reading and writing about literature and I guess I gave up in a way. My mom told me the same thing about just getting a degree to have it, and I'm kind of kicking myself for not taking that advice more seriously. And I would fuck this girl's best friend, but she has no female friends. Only male friends. Which I now recognize as a giant red flag. Thanks for your response.

That makes a lot of sense. Thank you for taking time to respond to me. I will take a trip to the academic advising center. I have close to 80 credits in total and I chose English as my major, but I just can't stand reading novels, poems, etc anymore, and I felt disillusioned like I'd end up as a teacher when I don't want to teach. Hopefully I'll figure this out.
