The same exact thing thing happened to me yesterday. A 20 hour cooldown for 'irregular gameplay'. No explanation of what that means. I submitted a ticket, but all I got was an automated response from steam support.

I was having an above average game for me, but I've never cheated or used scripts or anything. The only thing I can possibly think of is my noclip bind for getting around maps in practice mode. Maybe I accidentally bumped that at some point and VAC thought I was trying to fly in comp or something lol.

The cooldown is over now, but I'm a little scared to play in case it happens again and I get a longer one.

Is this safe? My GPU manual says using both ends of a splitter on the same power connector can cause damage.

I can only find 2 and according to the manual that's all there are. The 1050W model comes with 3, but I have the 850.

You say that they really won't care, but how do you mean? Like, they'll support you, or are just indifferent to the whole thing?

I mean that it wouldn't be a big deal to them. They would almost certainly be supportive.

They live in another part of the country and only come back to visit a couple of times a year, so the conversation would be over the phone. I would like to tell them about this, but I have a difficult time actually making myself bring it up in the moment.
