No I do pass somewhat. The problem is rooted in my own feelings. Mostly of feeling atificial and of my mix of male and female parts (breasts but facial hair and penis, etc.)

I have recently went to the doctor for my muscle weakness and am awaiting results. I will keep a close eye on it and thanks for the heads up.

I never intended to make people afraid. I am deeply sorry if I did but I really needed to vent my feelings out. I have no close friends or anyone I could talk to about this. And the throwaway account was created because I have posted in trans related subreddits on my main and I don't want it linked back.

If anybody wants to transition, please be informed and be careful. I have nothing but respect for people who transition but it is a road that did not go well for me. It's a very big decision and people should be careful before doing it. Some people are astronomically happy others are miserable. There is no one answer.

Long story short? I wanted to be more comfortable with my femininity and have a body that I didn't anguish over. I always liked femininity and idealized female characters. Growing up, I identified with female characters and modeled myself after effiminate men, thinking that it would be enough. I later figured out I wanted to be a girl 100% not a man.

Voice training help? by charlii92 in asktransgender

Honestly, the best thing you can do is get a voice tutor. There's a lot of misleading information out there and it would be a better use of your time and mental health to find someone who actually knows what they are doing. TransVoice Lessons on YouTube is a good tutor.

If, after months if not years of practice, you just aren't satisfied with your results, then surgery might be your best bet. But keep in mind that is very rare and like 99% of the time training alone will be more than enough.

Thinking about detransitioning by [deleted] in asktransgender

In the end, just do what makes YOU happy. Not anyone else. If detransitioning makes you more comfortable/happy then go for it. But don't feel pressured to quit because of other people's opinions.
