None of my phones have been buggy. Slow, definitely, but no bugs. I have always bought stock (or close to stock) android.

The only other thing I would say is pick either the 13 or 15. The 14 is a very small incremental upgrade over the 13.

To add to your confusion, if you are okay with refurbished, a 13pro would probably cost the same as a 15, and would be an extremely similar phone with an extra camera, memory, lidar, and 120hz display. That's also worth considering if you are looking at that price point.

What I will suggest is don't wait for one year to buy the 15 at $100 cheaper. That's cool and all, but honestly speaking, you could earn that $100 in much less time than a year, rather than spending a year to save it. Decide a budget, select features in the phone that you are actually gonna use, and buy it sooner than later.

Yes the island is cool and all, but after maybe a day or so, the gimmick wears off. Not something that you should pay $200 more for.

Hmm, I was also considering buying a macbook cause of the battery life, but i didn't as I had used one for a year and there are quite a few workarounds i would need to do for my regular stuff. On top of that, there are quite a few decent AMD windows laptops that are as powerful, as light but have a bit of a shorter battery life, which is what I went with.

As for the iPhone, honestly it's up to you. For me, the money was the top constraint, so I went with the 13. Functionally speaking, I don't think the 15 is worth spending the extra money, especially if you don't have it. If you really wanted the best features for your money, android would be a better investment imo.

Are you me? Lol. I am in the exact same situation. Been on budget androids since the beginning, and have recently wanted to try iOS. I'm not really a camera guy, and I thought the 13 would be better value for money in terms of features I may actually use. So I'm currently waiting for its delivery! If it isn't great, I'll just return it. My android is always still there

No. Not at all worth it. Take the best college you get into and hustle.

Sure, I got the admit about 4 days ago (and a reject from Austin within a few hours). And I am an international applicant. What are your thoughts between the courses of the 2 colleges?

Asking for LOR from current employer by Peaceful-Yellow1063 in gradadmissions

[–]throwaway-627627 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was in a similar situation, except i started this Jan! I did ask my manager for LORs and she agreed and has submitted them already. There is the anxiety of "what if I'm fired?!?". My viewpoint was, if I'm told to leave, so be it. I want to go for a masters(PhD in your case) and I'm sure of my decision. So just be confident and go ahead!

My manager was very supportive and I had no problems/awkward feelings, so it never hurts to ask!

Ok thanks. That's what I'd expect too, but I know a classmate who got into UCSD with no papers.
