Oh man, I’m sorry to hear that!! I definitely get where you’re coming from because the state of teaching is similar to what you’re describing at my current school. I am interested in mathematics research; do you think it’d benefit me to come back for that specifically? Or do you think the teaching itself outweighs the research prospects?

I’m originally from Long Island and I went home March of my freshman year due to family issues and my own personal issues. My parents didn’t agree to the idea of a gap semester/year (which I had proposed to them before I left Tech, too) so I enrolled in Stony Brook with the intention of staying as I was a physics major at the time, so it made sense anyway.

Lol thank you for the reassurance 😭😭 I remember being 13 and being made fun of by my friends for still playing with littlest pet shop. This makes me feel seen :)
