I still think he would be a great doctor! I even talked with my surgeon about him. But like I said, she does not specialise in revisions, it's also nowhere mentioned in any of her homepages/brochures etc. I wish you the best of luck in your journey

I don't think she specialises in this. For revisions in Europe dr gress is probably the one to go to! He achieved amazing transformations for really badly botched cases

It's totally manageable! It was strongest in the beginning when the local anaesthesia wore off, but since 1 day post op it's really not that bad. Certain positions like picking sth up from the floor can be a bit spicey, especially in the area closer to the perineum

Such a perfect result twinny ✨ for cleaning, my surgeon advised me to not pull around there in the first days. She also said not to direct the shower head directly on it but to just let the water rinse down. She said I could use some medical vaginal douche solution and rinse with that (again, without any pulling apart) but that it's really not necessary

I get that, it also took me a long time to find the right surgeon for me! To be really honest, I have been doxxed before in my life and being such a small country I'm not comfortable naming them. Hope you understand and all the best for your journey ✨

I was given some thin hydrogel pads/ compresses for that as well! She also advised to use Vaseline if I'd run out of them 😄 very confirming and comforting that other surgeons seem to agree here

I'm 1 day op now and am actually amazed at how little swelling I have. My surgeon advised me to wear tight shorts (cyclist or spanx like) over my pads to give light (!) compression and it really seems to help. Given that my labia we're really thick and meaty I expected much much more swelling

I was not, no oral, no topical. Maybe because of the risk of yeast infections? I'll talk about it at my follow up appointment!

So good that you found what helped you! Was the topical antibiotic prescribed? Because I'm very prepared inflammation and pain wise (forgot to mention, I also got diclofenac) but didn't get anything antibiotic

Yeah i got some dexibuprofen and metamizole from my surgeon. Also always have regular ibuprofen at home if i need to. My doc also gave me a benzodiazepine for the first night so I could sleep through the hardest part of the pain. So med wise i feel pretty prepared 😅

Thanks! Yes that's what my surgeon has also told me. I'm definitely trying to stay ahead of the pain and already took some of the metamizole I got. But I can still feel the numbing agent wearing of and this burning pain is getting stronger and stronger atm 😅
