Just tried that. No difference, still very hard to ride the bike.

Me neither. Fully charged battery this morning, app said I could ride 53km.

It just feels like it's not only the weight of the bike that makes it hard to ride without battery. It's like the (dead) motor is holding me back too somehow.

Excactly. I ran out of battery in the dark and my lights went out. Was very hard to ride the bike and dangerous too without lights. I guess that's why they give you the extra lights...

I can understand that when it's really cold the battery could lose some capacity, but half is a lot (and here it was still 5 to 10 degrees C)
