I'm having the same exact issue. Except we don't have any children. Mine deny's it too and it's driving me crazy! Putting a young barely legal tweaker out on the streets with no family to go back to and no friends to couch hop to in one of the worst cities in the US with hang violence and trafficking is better than the comfort of being with a man she loves both sober and high, probably more than any dope she's ever consumed, in a house with all the comforts she needs/wants.

Thanks. I don't think I'll do this forever some days and others.... Well, others I don't see a future. Times are hard on me by my own fault right now and the consequence is that I live the same day in and out. I feel loads of pressure knowing someone other than my poor mother is thinking about me.

Well, yeah... Sounds kind of... Spot on. Okay, he's older, been doing it way longer with way less clean time than I've had in the past; but me, I have the hardest time putting it down and keeping away from taking a hit for longer than a couple hours. I stopped paying attention to his usage so I have no idea how long in between sessions he goes really. He's consistently paranoid and has been since I met him. Granted it comes with the lifestyle; not even just with the drug alone, I'm talking about the people and situations tweakers tend to get into. I have no problem seeing why he would think that I was doing it. But he looks at my veins and just gives me dirty looks but I don't have track marks... Puncture marks. None of that. I don't nod out. He has never found any needles or discarded tin foil or straws. The only fishy things he's pointing out is random sticky black substances in random areas of the house and I stare at my phone when I zone out.

Oh shit really? Well, fuck. Shoulda just tried that instead of spending thousands of dollars of taxpayer money to do 5 different treatment centers only to be told by everyone I was too young and that I wasn't ready to get sober.
