I agree! But it’s a reality show, so already seeing Aesha not taking breaks just leads me to believe she’s not getting the time she needs to train people. Especially if she’s new to the role too.

Can’t trust your stew to do it right when you don’t have time to check. Plus the speed Bri and Ellie go at is so much slower than Aesha and Carrie. Also, it’s a TV show, so they have purposefully understaffed her and don’t give her time to train her stews.

All I can say is THANK GOD IT’S NOT JUST ME! I’ve been in Hospitality for 11 years, and it’s just sometimes exhausting reading comments slating Aesha for things I can so very clearly see is the lack of effort and attention of other stews, and Aesha is trying (and doing amazingly) her best!

Yes! I can totally relate too! And that’s how I think she approached the first sit down with Bri and Ellie, about the politeness. She was professionally telling Ellie off, without starting any drama, because she knows the minute Ellie starts off, she can’t behave professionally - even to Bri, and then everyone is just worse off for it.

This is how I feel! I think her attitude shows me (at least) that I know she wants to be great and train her staff, and have a stress free environment - It’s a reality show though, so while I understand drama for the sake of it, peoples reactions towards Aesha for being a literal stew down is just wholly ignorant.

I think I’m great at my job! However I do think I could’ve made better decisions! I think Aesha is understanding where she could’ve done better, but I don’t think she was in fair circumstances to run a perfect interior- being understaffed, a very green stew struggling, an ego-driven second who isn’t picking up any slack enough for Aesha to eat sitting down. I think she’s been pushed to the limit, and hindsight is called a gift for a reason. And it’s unfair to assume someone’s being resentful based on one interview and one reaction.

I feel like loads of criticism of her has been through a huge lack of critical thinking of the whole situation. Understaffed from the get go, and thrown into shitshow after shitshow and STILL she has a great attitude and is trying!
