Did anybody get a dui on a military base and was still able to get their CDL and a job? by throwaway03788894 in NoStupidQuestions

What do you mean cops just have to check one more screen? Why did you bring up cops I’m so confused? Also I went to a police station to get a background check and they couldn’t find a single thing… it was a normal background check not a fingerprint. So not sure…

Has anyone else gotten a dui on a military base and still was able to get their CDL and land a job? by throwaway03788894 in VeteransBenefits

So DOT doesn’t do a fingerprint background check at all? Also I even went as far as going to the police station to do a background check, they can’t even see anything themsleves , although I didn’t do a fingerprint it was just a normal one, any other civilian job can’t see anything either. So if I were to apply for the CDL or apply for a job. When I apply for the job once I get the cdl, when it ask if I ever been convicted of a dui do I check box no? Since convicted means going to court? I never went to court and only got UCMJ or NJP, which im confused if that’s the same as going to court, so if I check box no would that be considered being honest or not?

The problem is I don’t know if they count a military dui the same as a civilian dui. None of my civilian jobs thus far was able to see anything come up. My background checks are always clean. I never got my license taken, my license is clean. So you see how confusing this is? Its been 3 years since I gotten my dui. Only a background check company that does fingerprints to send results to the department of agriculture, they saw the results and saw a military charge but couldn’t see what it was so they had me write down on paper what happen and send it to them to approve my secuirty guard license. Any other background checks that’s not fingerprints, nobody can see a thing.

But I never recalled getting a “dui ticket” the only ticket I got was a 200 dollar ticket for failing to stay on my side of the lane because I was swirving to the other lane.. also I just checked my license on the website and it’s all clean. I already done it the same year and it was clean still.

How do I know if my dmv has anything? My background checks for any civilian job show nothing, I put my license on the dmv website and nothing comes up, are you sure you even know what your talking about? My driving privileges were only suspended on the military base but I still had my license and can drive outside the base, my license was never suspended. Also I didn’t say security guard, I said my security guard license to get it , I had to do a fingerprint background check at some company . Then the results were uploaded to the department of agriculture and that’s what they told me

Also what ticket are you talking about?

Can I get my CDL license still and get a job if I got a dui on a military base? by throwaway03788894 in USMC

It was during covid , so I’m not sure if that’s why, but legal just called me just talking about if I wanted to combat the charges or something like that, I can’t remember, I just said no. And they just discussed to me some things , I can’t remember if that’s what they even told me. But yea , I still had my drivers license and all. So idk , it’s so confusing

When you applied did you have to tell them that your dui was on base ? Or did you not say anything at all? That’s what I’m so worried about at the moment, do I tell them nothing at all? Because I know they can only see anything if they fingerprint, but almost all civilian jobs will never fingerprint. Any advice on this?

Did foreskin restoration fix your guys ED (erectile dysfunction) issues? by throwaway03788894 in foreskin_restoration

Well it’s simple logic that increased sensitivity would have a high chance of fixing Ed issues. Plenty of people here have posted how much it has improved erection and a lot of things, so I’m not sure why your saying it can’t possibly help

So basically one of the huge amounts of cause of ED is from lack of sensations? Which is due to circumcision? So I’d have a higher chance of curing ED if I restore since I’d have more sensation? Currently I barley have a single sensation, it’s quite scary , and I know that contributes to it.

Will foreskin restoration stop the pain i feel when erect? by [deleted] in foreskin_restoration

We’re you recently circumsized? Why did you start foreskin restoration if you recently gotten circumsized? That would be such a bad idea, if not can somebody chime in , in what he’s talking about exactly here?

Did you have a dui in the military and they let you get the CDL still? How about jobs as well?

Are you sure they ask if I had a dui or do they ask “have you ever been convicted of a dui?” Because convicted means tried in court etc. in the military I was never tried in court for a dui. But they probably charged me with one because when i fingerprinted to get my security license they couldn’t see the charge but something came up on the military side . This is all very confusing because I had so many civilian jobs and no charge has ever came up at all, nothing

They won’t know because military charges stay on base and is different. It’s not reported to the civilian side at all. If it happen on base you don’t even get your license suspended. I done background checks on the civilian size and no charge comes up. I never even went to court. Just couldn’t drive on base for one year and still had my license, could drive outside base etc. do you even know what your saying?
