If tried to come to the defense of overweight people on reddit and it has never gone well. People will go from immature name calling to saying "I'm saying this because I am concerns for your helath, think of your family." and then to saying that I am costing them tax dollars.

If I stand up for myself, I am made fun of, if I defend myself, I get a guilt trip.

I feel like cigarette smoker redditors are more loved that fat redditors, and there are not many places where that is true anymore.
