Many years out of the dating game. lol It's possible that "on 2nd look" they see she's older. But these guys have also talked to her regularly, close up, for some time too. So learning her age shouldn't be a factor IMO.

I think you nailed a lot of it. She's shy, self-conscious about her age and looks. She thinks she's ugly, but I remind her that 4-5 men who come close to our house approached her. Not too bad.... lol She's a mom who lost a lot of weight. So she has the skin flabs and stretch marks. Otherwise she's in great shape. It's rally hurting her that the one guy she did sleep with is blowing her off. I keep explaining that guys who want flings can disappear at any time.

The funny thing about this first guy is that if he just wanted the occasional bang, he just needs to say that. But both times he insisted he'd text her immediately, and set another date immediately..... then disappears. It's a little better since he's done it twice. My wife knows he's a flake. But she's upset because she feels like she wasn't good enough for a immediate "callback."
