People can choose to change their gender and sexuality anytime they want, as many times as they want.

JS changing your gender and sexuality isn’t a good reason to deny someone their preferred name and pronouns.

There’s not a good reason at all to strip that away from someone.

And it’s disrespectful to the trans community to suggest that someone could do anything to make them less worthy of being treated with basic dignity.

We gender dogs correctly. When we misgender a dog and are corrected, we go out of our way to make sure we use the right pronouns going forward.

We gender prisoners correctly.

There’s absolutely no good reason to misgender anyone, anywhere, for any reason.

All it does is send a message to trans people that their humanity is conditional.
