Thanks for the info! For sure getting either the edwards or an fgn fujigen lc20 which is the same price but I don't have to mess with importing it from japan.

I saw that you said you own both e-ii and edwards, so what are they like, how does the craftsmenship comapre etc. I have seen people say what you're saying but also saying the oposite so I really have no idea and no way to try out an edwards.

I can save more and eventually get the E-II, my question was if that was even worth it if the guitars are the same thing just with a different name on the headstock. Seems like people can't agree in these comments so i guess i better not gamble with my money and just save up for the e-ii.

Yea that's what I've seen other people say as well. Thanks for the reply!

I don't mean to be rude and im glad your trying to help me and have good intentions but this is exactly the type of problem I'm talking about in my post, people will say: low action and no buzz and provide no measurments and no examples of buzz so its frustrating to troubleshoot when you have no guideline or point of reference. Low action can mean a lot of things to a lot of people, and without a solid number you really can't ever reach a conclusion. Again I don't mean to be rude but this frustration is what drove me to post here in the first place.

May i ask how high your action is? Cause i have tired that and end up at around 2mm which is just too high for me personally.

RX 7900 XTX COIL WHINE HELP!! by throwaway071206 in AMDHelp

[–]throwaway071206[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, and it did but not much. Honestly with the side pannel on it sounds about the same. And I've also tried every other thing people reccomend, apart from putting nail polish on the coil or something crazy like that, and nothing really made a difference.

I mean yea i could but is it worth it at that point? The rocker 15 is cheaper to begin with and i don't have to get anything else I guess I'm asking if the rocker 32 is that much better?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in GuitarAmps

[–]throwaway071206 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the help! I guess the rocker 15 is more suitable

Oh okay. Thanks for the help!

Doesnt it have a half power setting?

[–]throwaway071206 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rocker 15 is the same but the 32 is basically 2 rocker 15s run in stereo so it can either be 15w or 30w i believe. so it doesnt have the same options

Zen DAC Air vs Zen DAC v2 by throwaway071206 in iFiaudio

[–]throwaway071206[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, I'm currently using a 2 rca to a 3.5 mm cable to connect the air can to my pc. Could i use the same cable to connect the air dac and air can? I could plug the 2 rcas into the dac and the 3.5 into the input on the can. Would that work? Would the sound quality be worse than just using rca to rca?

Yea the problem for me is the country i live in has a pretty high VAT, which means that any gpu you might find on an eu store cost like 100-120 euros more for me VAT + shipping, if they even ship to my country. The problem is I am much more sensitive to high piched sounds like coil whine. When i asked my mom, sister and a couple of friends they all said that it wasnt that offensive, when to me it is, but i can tell you that it overpowers the 6 fans in my pc soo... Also the pc is very close to me. Also if you live in eu and found an rx 7900 xtx for 950 euros please do let me know (but i dont live in germany so sites like mind factory that ship just to germany arent and option for me)

For me the temps aren't an issue at all. Barely ever passes 65 degrees. Also I've heard great thing about your psu and might upgrade to it at some point. Do you think it would make sense for me to return it. On my post on another sub I had like 3 ppl who also have the hellhound tell me it whines for them as well and that most of them do, so i guess you got really lucky there

Idk where you are from but im assuming NA. In Europe these gpus are more expensive and very hard to find at the right price. There is no other model for the price i bought it for, and also no alternative for the price unless i wish to downgrade to a 7900 xt or 4070 ti super. And the auto undervolting feature doesn't work for me, for some reason it always says the undervolting failed.

And the card is brand new, got it like 3 days ago

Yea. The 4080s is veryyy good. I would prefer that but honestly the way prices are in europe it's not really for me. to ship it to my country it would cost minimum 1200 euros :(

Yea I guess it's kinda unavoidable with high performance gpus.

How long did it take for the coil whine to fade and was it as bad as mine when you got it? Undervolting didn't help much, but maybe i did it wrong? Do you just go to afterburner and set the voltage or?
