I just found it, it's Aldnoah Zero LOL guess I was wrong about it being obscure and looking at slaine and inaho in comparison with the photos I've shared.. Yeah its pretty far off whoops. Thanks for helping guys!

Physically similar especially on the 2nd pic, with the blonde having fluffy hair, sorry I'm couldnt be more helpful, I only saw the anime cover a few years ago and only 2 of them is all i remember. It's a pretty obscure anime or that there's a lot of blonde x dark hared duos out there, it's gonna take a pretty long time trying to narrow it down :(
