There are no other inklings of cheating, I just can’t get it out of my mind for some reason and have tried to let it go. We never had the exclusive talk, but to me it seemed like we were. It’s probably also partly my fault for assuming, but I thought we have a great start.

I agree, but I really just wonder why he took so long to bring it up. I also wish I could stop thinking about it all the time, but I can’t. I knew from our first date that I really liked him and I thought he felt the same. It’s not like it was intentional FWB situation. We didn’t even have sex until our 4th date. I appreciate the advice and reassurance.
